Niels Agatz is a Full Professor of last-mile supply chain analytics at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University Rotterdam, within the Department of Technology and Operations Management. He serves as the scientific director of TKI Dinalog, the Dutch national institute for collaborative logistics research, and as an area editor for Transportation Science . His academic career includes a Ph.D. from RSM and an M.Sc. in industrial engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, with visiting positions at Georgia Tech and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Professor Agatz's research focuses on developing innovative and sustainable last-mile supply chains through advanced analytics, with particular expertise in transportation-enabled services, urban delivery systems, and demand management.
