Evangelos Pallis is a First-Class Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, School of Engineering, Hellenic Mediterranean University. He leads the 'PASIPHAE' research group within the institutionalized 'Multimedia, Networks and Communications (MCN)' laboratory. His academic roles include supervising over 50 undergraduate theses, 100 practical exercises, 3 postgraduate theses, and serving on doctoral committees for 7 PhDs. Education: Bachelor's in Electronic Engineering (1994) – Technical University of Crete MSc in Telecommunications (1997) – University of East London PhD in Telecommunications (2003) – University of East London Research Interests: Focus on wireless networks, digital broadcasting, NGN management, SDN, NFV, and network standardization. He has contributed to 14 national and 18 European projects (including Horizon-2020), and participates in IETF CDNi and ETSI NG112 initiatives. Publications & Impact: Authored 39 journal papers, 114 conference papers, and 8 books/chapters. His work has garnered over 1,900 citations (h-index=26) on Google Scholar and 1,000+ (h=20) on Scopus. He reviews for IEEE Network, COMNET, and journals like Energies. Awards/Honors: Editorial Board Member (Regional Editor) of Information Technology Journal Honorary Member of EPEK (Greek Regional Channels Association) Patent Holder (EP3301945 A1) at European Patent Office Professional Activities: Organizer of the IEEE-supported TEMU Conference, and active in telecommunications standardization.
