Elaine Conway is a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at Loughborough Business School, with academic qualifications including a PhD from the University of Derby, an Executive MBA from Duke University, and a BSc (Hons) from Aston University. She previously served as Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Derby for 11 years, delivering courses across undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs. Her current role includes serving as Small Business Engagement Coordinator, responsible for fostering collaboration between the School and SMEs in research, teaching, and enterprise activities to support Small Business Charter accreditation. Research interests span corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability, integrated reporting, circular economy adoption, and low-carbon transitions, with a focus on SME resilience and ethical business practices. Elaine’s work addresses challenges in digital skills development for manufacturing, stakeholder engagement post-COVID-19, and the intersection of mental health with business education. Her publications emphasize practical solutions for SMEs navigating sustainability reporting, climate resilience, and ethical frameworks.
