Harun İLÇİOĞLU is a Lecturer at the Department of Turkish Language at Kastamonu University since 2019. He holds a PhD in Turkish Language Education from Abant İzzet Baysal University (2018-2025), an MSc in Modern Turkish Language from Pamukkale University (2009-2013), and a BA in Turkish and Social Sciences Education from Sakarya University (2006-2009). He has served as Chair of the Commission at Kastamonu University (2020-2022). He has contributed to projects like the UN-Supported Turkish Language Education (2022) and 3 Dakikada Türkçe (2015-2016). His work explores the use of AI, films, and music in teaching Turkish to foreigners. Key publications include a 2024 study on AI-driven Turkish speech robots, a 2023 analysis of idiom teaching through films, and a 2018 book on teaching Turkish through songs. He also co-edited the 2024 book Current Discussions in Teaching Turkish to Bilinguals and Foreigners . Active in international conferences, he chaired a session on AI and Turkish education at the 2023 International Symposium on Teaching Turkish as a Heritage and Foreign Language . Certifications include a Turkish Teaching Certificate from Yunus Emre Institute (2016) and training in multicultural teaching environments (2008).
