His research examines physiological adaptations to resistance training, sports supplementation, and extreme conditions including body composition in strongman athletes, hydration dynamics in wrestlers, and ketogenic diet impacts on military personnel. His doctoral work validated MRI techniques for measuring skeletal muscle changes in resistance-trained men. Publications reveal consistent collaboration with Dr. William Kraemer's lab, emphasizing practical applications for athletic and military performance through studies on ginseng ergogenics, cryocompression recovery, and hormonal responses to stress.
