Associate Professor
Jie Park is an Associate Professor of Education at Clark University, specializing in language and literacy practices among immigrant youth. Her research focuses on how first-generation immigrants navigate academic discourses and utilize cultural/linguistic resources in educational settings. She has conducted longitudinal studies in Philadelphia and the Bronx, NY, examining multilingual students' academic integration. Her work emphasizes critical language pedagogy, multicultural curricula, and youth identity development.
