Lecturer
Dr. Viet Le is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Swinburne University of Technology's School of Business, Law and Entrepreneurship. He specializes in teaching entrepreneurship, innovation, and economics, and chairs the Industry Consulting Project unit. His research focuses on SMEs' export dynamics, innovation, and productivity, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. He holds a PhD from the University of Wollongong and MAs from the University of Auckland and National University of Singapore. Research Interests: Entrepreneurship development, SME efficiency, international trade barriers, and applied economics. Recent grants include a Vietnam MOET PhD scholarship (2017–2020). He has supervised numerous PhD projects on topics like blockchain in green finance, digital technology adoption, and social enterprise sustainability. Teaching Activities: Leads courses on business innovation, economics for entrepreneurship, and chairs industry-linked consulting projects. Advises on over 15 HDR students focusing on global competitiveness, SME challenges, and emerging markets. Key Contributions: Published widely on SME export barriers, digital adoption, and tourism leadership. His work bridges theoretical frameworks (e.g., TOE, DOI theory) with practical policy recommendations for enhancing SME competitiveness.
