Sylwia Winiarska is an Assistant Professor at Vistula University, serving as Academic Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Programme at the Faculty of Business and International Relations. She also holds roles as student supervisor and research leader. Previously, she was Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office and Head of the War Studies Team at the War Studies University (formerly National Defense University), specializing in Strategy and Geostrategy. She has coordinated major international conferences for NATO-associated institutions and contributed to EU-funded projects. Education : Graduate of the University of Warsaw's Institute of Oriental Studies and Faculty of Economic Sciences. Research Interests : Focuses on geopolitics, cultural awareness in security contexts, strategic management of security risks, and the role of minorities in international politics. Explores ethical dimensions of cybersecurity and cyber governance. Her work bridges theoretical strategy with practical policy applications in multilateral frameworks. Public Service Roles : Served in Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs handling bilateral relations with Africa/Middle East and multilateral EU cooperation. Also coordinated EU-funded information society programs in the Ministry of Interior and Administration, representing Poland in the CIP ICT working group. Labs/Teams : Leads the War Studies Team at War Studies University, focusing on geostrategic analysis and security studies.
