Jong Min Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Sejong University. His academic background includes a Ph.D. (1998), M.S. (1991), and B.S. He has pioneered methods for Geological Disposal and Geotechnical Application of Waste Materials , including the development of a low-ammonium EICP technique using synthetic Ca²⁺-zeolite to mitigate environmental harm. Recent publications highlight advancements in soil stabilization using plant-based enzymes and waste materials, thermo-mechanical rock behavior , and reinforced soil mechanics . His work includes numerical simulations for nuclear waste repositories and innovative grouting methods with environmental safeguards. He teaches Construction Materials Testing and Soil Mechanics , and leads research on compaction quality control , dynamic soil properties , and environmentally sustainable geotechnical applications .
