Prof. Dr. Cüneyt BAYILMIŞ is a Professor at Sakarya University's Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Department of Computer Engineering. He has been serving in this position since 2021, following his promotion from Associate Professor (2015-2021). His academic career at Sakarya University spans over 15 years, with previous appointments in the Faculty of Technology and Faculty of Technical Education. Dr. BAYILMIŞ earned his Doctorate in 2006 from Kocaeli University with a thesis on "Design of an interconnection unit that extends CAN segments using IEEE 802.11B clan," followed by a Master's degree in 2003 and Bachelor's degree in 2001, both from Sakarya University. His research spans multiple domains in computer engineering, with a strong focus on Internet of Things (IoT) , Computer Vision , Wireless Networks , and Cyber Security . His work demonstrates significant contributions to real-time systems, object detection, and lightweight cryptographic solutions for resource-constrained IoT devices. His recent publications show increasing interest in quantum neural networks for security applications and autonomous charging systems using computer vision.
