Assistant Professor
Dr. Pierre Chopin is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) within the Faculty of Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research focuses on redesigning agricultural and landscape systems to enhance sustainability, reduce environmental impacts, and improve livelihoods across diverse regions including the Caribbean, East Africa, and Vietnam. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from INRAE (Guadeloupe, France).
