Dr. Ramesh Raghavendra serves as the Centre Director of the South Eastern Applied Materials Research Centre (SEAM) at South East Technological University (Ireland) and founded 3DWIT, a 3D printing training center. With over 35 years of R&D experience across academia and industry, he specializes in materials science and engineering, particularly in additive manufacturing (AM), functional ceramics, and microwave processing. He has secured over €30M in research funding, supervised multiple PhD projects, and holds patents in ceramic processing. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to industry, innovation, and infrastructure.
