Peter Hastie is a Wayne T. Smith Distinguished Professor in the School of Kinesiology at Auburn University. With over 224 peer-reviewed publications, he is recognized as the top physical education scientist in the United States and ranks fourth globally. His work focuses on innovative pedagogical approaches, particularly the Sport Education Model, and has been adopted internationally across diverse educational contexts. Expertise: Sport Education Model, physical education curriculum design, teacher development, and motor skill progression in children.
