Dr. Reda Abdelkareem is a Lecturer in Business Strategy at the Department of Marketing, Strategy and Innovation within Bournemouth University Business School and a member of the Centre for Sustainable Business Transformations. His educational qualifications include: PhD in Management Studies, Bangor University, UK (2019) MSc in Management Studies, Menoufia University, Egypt (2014) His research centers on strategic management, eco-innovation, and green practices in SMEs, investigating decision-making processes, sustainable business transformation, and environmental innovation. His work directly supports UN Sustainable Development Goals for Decent Work and Economic Growth (Goal 8), Industry Innovation and Infrastructure (Goal 9), and Climate Action (Goal 13). Recent publications (2023-2025) in journals like the Journal of Cleaner Production reveal consistent focus on eco-innovation drivers in manufacturing SMEs, environmental capability mediation, and sustainability integration in business education, demonstrating applied research addressing urgent climate and industrial challenges. His awards include: Outstanding Reviewer in the 2023 Emerald Literati Awards (Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies) Dr. Abdelkareem teaches postgraduate modules Global Strategic Management and Business Strategy and Finance, and undergraduate module Global Strategic Marketing. He serves on editorial review boards for multiple academic journals and holds Associate Fellowship with the Higher Education Academy (2022).
