Dr. Nicholas Matzke is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Biological Sciences , University of Auckland, New Zealand. His research revolutionizes biogeography by integrating extinction, fossils, organismal traits, and paleogeography into computationally efficient frameworks. His work on the FBD-MSC model and trait-dependent dispersal has transformed divergence time estimation and biogeographical inference.
