Senior Lecturer
Mats Dahllöf is a Senior Lecturer in Computational Linguistics at Uppsala University's Department of Linguistics and Philology. He holds a PhD in General Linguistics from the University of Gothenburg (1994) and is also an Associate Professor. His current research focuses on computational linguistics, stylometrics, and digital humanities, particularly analyzing contemporary Swedish fiction and medieval manuscripts. His work emphasizes methodological innovation, including dynamic time warping and voting algorithms for historical text processing. As Deputy Head of Department, he contributes to academic leadership at Uppsala University. His collaborations with Karl Berglund and others demonstrate interdisciplinary engagement across linguistics, computer science, and cultural analytics.
