Georgiou Andreas is a Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Macedonia, directing the Master in Business Administration program and serving as academic staff for the Master in Information Systems and Master in Business Analytics and Data Science programs. He earned his B.Sc. in Mathematics (1984) and Doctorate in Operations Research (1989) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research spans Quantitative Methods in Business Analytics, stochastic modeling, Machine Learning for Operations, Healthcare Simulation, and Multiple Criteria Optimization including AHP and DEA efficiency evaluation. He applies these techniques to solve complex business problems in operations management, marketing, and healthcare decision-making.
