Prof. Laura Leal-Taixé is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) leading the Dynamic Vision and Learning group. She holds the Rudolf Mößbauer Tenure Track Chair, promoted from a 2017 Tenure Track Assistant Professorship. Her work focuses on advancing computer vision and machine learning, particularly in video analysis, multi-object tracking, and autonomous systems. She received a Sofja Kovalevskaja Award (2017) for her project socialMaps, which integrates dynamic social data into traffic modeling.
