Professor Dagmar Janáčová serves as a full-time faculty member at Tomas Bata University in Zlín's Faculty of Applied Informatics, where she leads research in the Institute of Automation and Control Engineering. Her academic career spans over three decades with progressive appointments culminating in her 2013 professorship in Machine and Process Control. (PhD equivalent) from Brno University of Technology (1990-1993) Habilitation (doc.) in Machine and Process Control from University of Mining and Technology Ostrava (2003) Research Focus: Professor Janáčová specializes in engineering calculations for transport phenomena with emphasis on heat and mass transfer systems. Her work integrates mathematical modeling of industrial processes, optimization methodologies, and environmental applications—particularly innovative waste recycling technologies. This interdisciplinary research bridges chemical engineering principles with advanced control systems for sustainable industrial solutions.
