Triveni Kuchi serves as Social Sciences/Instructional Services Librarian and Faculty & Graduate Services Coordinator at Rutgers University's James Dickson Carr Library, providing reference, instruction, and collection development for sociology, criminal justice, South Asian studies, and Middle Eastern studies. She maintains faculty status through her affiliate appointment in the African, Middle Eastern, and South Asian Languages and Literatures (AMESALL) Department. Her educational credentials include a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Rutgers University and a master's degree in economics from the University of Bombay, Mumbai, India. Research focuses on communication dynamics in academic libraries, information literacy frameworks, and cross-cultural collaboration strategies. Her work examines self-presentation in digital environments, liaison librarian effectiveness, and partnership-building models for international academic engagement, particularly with South Asian and Middle Eastern institutions. Recent publications demonstrate growing emphasis on cultural representation in library spaces, diversity initiatives in information services, and specialized collection development for area studies. Her scholarship increasingly addresses plagiarism prevention frameworks and the evolving role of librarians in scholarly communication ecosystems.
