James C. Sturm is the Stephen R. Forrest Professor of Electrical Engineering and Associated Faculty at the Princeton Materials Institute. He leads the Sturm Lab, focusing on materials, processing, and devices for microelectronics and macroelectronics. His work spans silicon-based heterojunctions, three-dimensional integration, and large-area electronics for flexible displays and biomedical applications. He holds a B.S.E. from Princeton University and a Ph.D. from Stanford University. His research bridges nanoscale device scaling and low-cost, large-area manufacturing technologies for organic semiconductors and TFTs.
