Thomas Hellstrom is a Professor at the Department of Computer Science , Umeå University, Sweden. He leads the Intelligent Robotics group and is affiliated with the Center for Transdisciplinary AI . His research spans human-robot interaction (HRI) , deep learning applications , robot ethics , and field robotics for agricultural and forestry automation. Current project ROCC (Swedish Research Council) explores robot causality, while SOCRATES addressed social robotics in eldercare.
