Henrik Rosengren is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor in the Department of History at Lund University. He serves as Deputy Head of Department and is a member of the LU Profile Area: Human rights. His work focuses on history teacher education, Jewish integration in Sweden, anti-Semitism, and the Holocaust. Research interests include Jewish immigrants in the 1930s, history didactics, Sweden's relations with the GDR, and the cultural identification of Jewish communities. He has led projects such as In the Shadow of the Holocaust and DDR-nätverket , exploring cultural achievements and ideological exchanges. The articles he has published reflect trends in Holocaust historiography, Jewish integration, and cross-cultural musical relations. His work as a co-editor of anthologies on biography writing and Gustav Mahler underscores his interest in historical narratives. Activities include external PhD thesis reviewing, participation in conferences like Flykten över Öresund 1943 , and editorial roles. He has supervised PhD students and contributed to research on Sweden's Jewish history and postwar democratization.
