Julie Walters serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Oakland University, with her office located in Varner Hall, Room 421B (371 Varner Drive, Rochester, MI). Walters' research critically examines intersections between law, public administration, and social equity, with particular emphasis on gender stratification in STEM fields, eldercare policy frameworks, and institutional responses to domestic violence. Her work consistently bridges theoretical organizational analysis with practical policy implementation challenges across healthcare, judicial systems, and academic institutions. Analysis of her 15 most recent publications reveals sustained focus on mentoring structures for STEM faculty, municipal bankruptcy impacts on judicial systems, and gender equity mechanisms in academia.
