Hans Bihs is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering. His research focuses on computational fluid dynamics (CFD), wave hydrodynamics, and wave-structure interaction using the open-source framework REEF3D. Key Research Areas: CFD simulations, wave modeling, floating body dynamics, ocean wave energy, aquaculture hydrodynamics, sediment transport, and high-performance computing. Projects: ERC Consolidator Grant PARTRES (2023-2028), EEA Grants Portugal SurfWave (2023), NFR KPN IPIRIS (2021-2025), EEA Baltic SolidShore (2021-2024), NTNU's MAPLE (2022-2025), and DigiCoast (2021-2024).
