Katarina Lundin is Professor of Language Didactics at Lund University's Centre for Languages and Literature, where she also serves as Assistant Head of Department responsible for doctoral education. Appointed Merited Teacher in April 2025, her administrative roles include membership on the Board, Working Committee, and Head of Department group. She teaches courses in Swedish grammar, educational linguistics, and teacher education including ÄKPN12: The Subject Teacher as a Reflective Practitioner and ÄSVD24: Swedish 4 . Her research examines: Grammar pedagogy for improving writing skills and classroom teaching methods Subject-specific literacy in Swedish and Physical Education/Health contexts Language as a tool for power and democracy in sports education She concurrently works part-time at Linnaeus University's Sports Sciences Department on the EDUHEALTH 2.0 project, investigating health education literacy. Recent publications (2023-2024) demonstrate interdisciplinary approaches combining linguistics, education, and sports science, with recurring themes of curriculum design, social justice in physical education, and innovative grammar instruction techniques.
