Neil Greenham is a Professor of Physics at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge. His research focuses on novel low-dimensional semiconductors, particularly conjugated polymers and semiconductor nanoparticles, with applications in photovoltaics, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), and spin physics. He pioneered polymer-based solar cells and has contributed significantly to understanding energy transfer mechanisms in organic/inorganic systems.
