Ernest Blatchley is the Lee A. Rieth Professor in Environmental Engineering and Professor in Environmental and Ecological Engineering at Purdue University's Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering. His research focuses on advancing UV-based technologies for water and air disinfection, mitigating disinfection byproducts, and sustainable water systems in underserved regions.
