Dr. Carlos Guerrero Tomé is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Architecture and Technology within the School of Mathematics and Computer Science at Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB). He holds a Doctorate in Computer Engineering from UIB and has established himself as a significant figure in both academic teaching and research. His educational background includes a Doctorate and degree in Computer Engineering from the Universitat de les Illes Balears, forming the foundation for his academic career at the same institution. Dr. Guerrero Tomé's research focuses on performance analysis in Cloud, Fog, and IoT computing environments. His specialties include computer architecture, data analysis, and scheduling algorithms. He is actively involved in two research groups: the Architecture and Behaviour of Computer and Telecommunication Systems (ACSIC) R+D+I Group and the UIB Artificial Intelligence Applications Laboratory (LAIA@UIB), where he contributes to advancing computing technologies. With numerous international publications to his name, his research output spans regional, national, and international projects, demonstrating broad scholarly impact. His administrative experience includes serving as director of the Master in Information Technologies for two years and deputy director of the Polytechnic School for seven years. His laboratory affiliation with the UIB Artificial Intelligence Applications Laboratory (LAIA@UIB) positions him at the forefront of AI research applications within the university's research ecosystem.
