Fang Lee Cooke is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Management at Monash University's Faculty of Business and Economics and Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia. She serves on the UNEP-ISC foresight Expert Panel and ILO Research Review Group. Her research examines employment relations, diversity management, strategic HRM, and technological impacts on work in contexts including Chinese multinational firms, healthcare, and construction sectors. Research explores gender equality in IHRM, digital platform employment, algorithmic management, and sustainable HRM practices. Recent work analyzes the effects of paternalistic leadership, workplace incivility, and EAP effectiveness. She has led over 30 funded projects including the £7.9M Digital Futures at Work Research Centre (2020-2025). Publications address contemporary challenges in global HRM, employee mental health, and workforce resilience during organizational change.
