Professor Joanne Hudson is a distinguished academic in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Swansea University , specializing in the Psychology of Sport and Exercise . With a PhD in Developmental Sports Psychology from the University of Wales, Bangor, she has over 20 years of experience in higher education. Her teaching spans modules such as Foundations of Exercise Science and Exercise for Health , focusing on evidence-based practice and behavioral interventions. Recent projects include intergenerational tech-driven physical activity interventions and home-space optimization for seniors. These studies combine qualitative , mixed-methods , and randomized trials , addressing topics like sedentary behavior reduction and respiratory rehabilitation post-COVID.
