Associate Professor
Dr. Bryan Zugelder serves as the Associate Dean for Academic Excellence, Research, Innovation & Policy and Associate Professor in the Department of Learning, Technology, and Leadership Education at James Madison University. He holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership, Master of Science in Educational Leadership, and Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. With over $44M in funded grants and 80+ scholarly contributions, his work focuses on teacher development, educator continuum systems, and university-based teacher induction. He leads initiatives such as a $4.8M annual project on systemic teacher induction and a widely adopted instructional coaching framework across 10 UNC System universities and 200+ schools.
