Fabio Pranovi is a Full Professor at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Statistics (DAIS) at Ca' Foscari University of Venice , and Laboratory Supervisor at the Responsible for Teaching and Research Activities in the Laboratory (RDRL) . He contributes to the Bauhaus of the Seas Sails (BoSS) and ClimeFish projects. Research Interests: Ecosystem approach to marine renewable resources, Climate change effects on coastal ecosystems, Ecosystem indicators, Spatial-temporal fishing analysis, Adriatic Sea biological communities Key Projects: H2020 BoSS (2023-2026), Interreg ECOSS (2019-2022), FP7 FORCE (2011-2014), PRIN projects on transitional ecosystems Scientific Awards: Editor, Marine Ecology Progress Series (2014) Review Editor, Frontiers in Marine Science Member, Journal of Sustainability & Environmental Management Member, ISRN Ecology Teaching: Offers courses on 'Fundamentals of Restoration Ecology' and 'Fishery Ecology' at bachelor's and master's levels. Chairs the Doctorate of Excellence in Science and Management of Climate Change advisory board.
