Elena L. Daly is a Lecturer in Law at Stanford Law School (SLS). She is also an independent legal expert and founder of EM Conseil, a Paris-based consultancy specializing in sovereign debt management and international financial transactions. Her career spans senior roles at institutions like the NYSE, Citigroup, and Nomura International PLC, alongside advising on high-profile sovereign debt restructurings (e.g., Argentina, Greece). She advises the ICRC on humanitarian debt conversion mechanisms and contributes to public policy debates on post-crisis reconstruction (e.g., Ukraine).
