Professor Mia Woodruff is a leading academic at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), holding the position of Professor in the School of Mechanical, Medical and Process Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering. She is the Group Leader of the Biofabrication and Tissue Morphology Group and Acting Director of the Herston Biofabrication Institute. Her research focuses on biofabrication, tissue engineering, and 3D printing applications in medicine, particularly in bone regeneration, vascular surgery, and personalized prosthetics.
