Francesca Carrieri is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Southern California and a Laurea in Law from the University of Bari, Italy. Her research focuses on asset pricing, international finance, and portfolio management, particularly in the context of financial integration in developed and emerging markets. She has published extensively in top journals like the Review of Financial Studies and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis . Education : PhD in Economics, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA Laurea in Law, Università di Bari, Italy Research Interests : Dr. Carrieri’s work examines currency risk in emerging markets, the impact of implicit barriers on globalization, and the role of industries in market integration. Her research has contributed to understanding the European Monetary Union’s dynamics and global equity price fluctuations.
