Associate Professor
Dr. Katie Plant is an Associate Professor at the University of Southampton, affiliated with the Centre for Defence and Security Research and the Transportation Research Group. Her research focuses on human factors in complex systems, including autonomous vehicles, transportation safety, and organizational adaptation. She leads projects such as REASON (resilient autonomous agents) and GEM (gender equitable micro-mobility guidelines).
