Iakovos Ioannou serves as Assistant Professor in Software Engineering at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Sciences, European University of Cyprus. His work integrates machine learning techniques to solve critical challenges in transmission mode selection, network security, and resource allocation. Key contributions include novel protocols for jamming attack detection and elliptic curve cryptography applications in wireless security. Analysis of his 2020-2022 publications reveals consistent focus on distributed AI/ML solutions for 5G/6G infrastructure.
