Prof. Dr. Hadi Işık Aybay is a distinguished Professor of Computer Engineering at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), North Cyprus. He has held academic roles including Department Chairman of Computer Engineering (1994–2004 and 2013–present) and Director of EMU's Distance Education Institute (2000–2013). He earned his PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from METU (1989) and served as an Assistant/Associate Professor before becoming a full Professor in 2013. His research spans neural networks, distributed systems, and e-learning technologies.
