Lecturer
Branko Crnogorac, M.A., serves as a foreign language and skills teacher at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Banja Luka. He holds teaching appointments at both the Faculty of Political Sciences and the Faculty of Philology, where he teaches various English language courses including Modern English 2-4, Contemporary English literature, and English modernist literature across multiple academic programs. His research spans two primary domains: English literature with a focus on modernist works, particularly E.M. Forster's novels, and environmental studies with emphasis on water resources in the Vrbas River basin and Republika Srpska region. His scholarly output demonstrates an interdisciplinary approach, connecting literary analysis with environmental concerns and educational methodologies. Dr. Crnogorac's recent publications show a clear trajectory from environmental research toward literary scholarship, with his most recent works (2023-2024) focusing on English modernist literature. His environmental research from 2006-2016 demonstrates expertise in hydrology, water resource management, and pollution studies in the Balkan region. Currently, Dr. Crnogorac is actively involved in the national development project 'Introducing two courses related to Irish literature and culture' (2025), funded by the Irish Embassy, where he serves as part of the project team working to establish specialized Irish studies courses at the Department of Anglophone Studies.
