Associate Professor
Dr. Yenni Tim is an Associate Professor at the School of Information Systems and Technology Management, UNSW Business School. She specializes in digital resilience, implementation science, and societal progress through practice-oriented research, focusing on how digital technologies like generative AI and renewable energy can drive organizational change and environmental sustainability. Her work often involves collaboration with problem owners and end users to ensure real-world impact. PhD in Information Systems from UNSW Sydney Master of Science from National University of Singapore Her research explores the intersection of digital capacity, resilience, and sustainable development, with projects addressing pandemic response, health services, digital disadvantages, and environmental challenges. She co-founded the UNSW Implementation Science Lab, which bridges the gap between research and practical implementation. Recent publications highlight her work in virtual reality for disability inclusion, climate risk systems, and digital sustainability frameworks. She actively contributes to academic governance as an Associate Editor for the Information Systems Journal and European Journal of Information Systems.
