Steven Casper is the Henry E. Riggs Professor of Management and Program Director (MBS) at the Keck Graduate Institute's Riggs School. He specializes in the 'business of science,' focusing on biotechnology clusters, innovation ecosystems, and global health policy. Previously, he held roles as a University Lecturer in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Cambridge's Judge Institute of Management Studies and a Senior Research Fellow at the Social Science Center in Berlin. Dr. Casper's research examines regional entrepreneurial ecosystems, non-market technology development in global health, and cross-national comparisons of biotechnology policies. He holds a PhD in Government from Cornell University and has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the English Social Research Council. Notable awards include Fulbright Research Scholar status and fellowships at Stanford's Center for Advanced Study and the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Studies.
