Patricia Ellen Grant is the Käthe Beutler, MD Harvard Professor of Pediatrics and Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. She serves as Director of the Fetal Neonatal Neuroimaging and Developmental Science Center (FNNDSC) at Boston Children's Hospital, Director of Faculty Affairs in the Department of Radiology, and Director of Research at the Fetal Care and Surgery Center. Her work focuses on developing advanced neuroimaging tools for pediatric populations. Education: BSc in Physics (1984), MSc in Theoretical Physics (1988) from University of Toronto; MD (1989) followed by radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship. Research Interests: Specializes in fetal and neonatal brain imaging through multimodal approaches combining MRI , MEG , and qNIRS . Pioneered FDNIRS and DCS for cerebral blood flow measurement, and developed a pediatric-specific MEG system. Leads a team working on deep-learning MRI analysis and computational infrastructure with RedHat. Scientific Contributions: Over 40 publications spanning pediatric neuroimaging , cerebral hemodynamics , and advanced MRI techniques . Current Principal Investigator for $40M in NIH grants with a team of 60+ members including 17 faculty and 6 postdocs. Awards: 2021 Outstanding Contributions in Research (American Society of Neuroradiology), 2022 Gold Medal (American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology), Senior Fellow of International Society for MR in Medicine.
