Michael Lane is a Lecturer in Law at Newman University's Faculty of Arts, Society and Professional Studies since January 2023. Previously, he was a visiting lecturer at Birmingham City University. Upcoming work includes a book chapter on UPR and UK devolution. He has also contributed expert reports to the UN and submissions to UK parliamentary committees. Professional Activities: Co-authored stakeholder reports on women's rights and migrants' rights with institutions like Pace University and 4 King’s Bench Walk. His work has influenced UN outcomes and domestic policy discussions on human rights.
