Professor Xun Yi is a faculty member at RMIT University's School of Computing Technologies, specializing in cybersecurity, data privacy, and distributed computing. His research focuses on privacy-preserving technologies in cloud systems, blockchain applications, federated learning, and secure communication protocols. He has published over 150 papers in top-tier journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing. Since 2014, he has served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, and has organized major events like the Australasian Information Security Conference (AISC) in 2015 and 2016. Professor Yi actively supervises PhD and Master's research projects, focusing on topics like secure IoT systems, privacy-aware machine learning, and blockchain-enabled frameworks. His work emphasizes practical solutions for real-world challenges in data security and privacy.
