Qiang Zhu is a Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, holding the William E. Stirton Professorship (2017–2024). He founded the Data Science/Management Research Laboratory and is affiliated with the Michigan Institute for Data Science (MIDAS). His research spans data science, data management, and machine learning. His work integrates machine learning with database systems for scalable solutions.
