Goran Oreški is an Associate Professor and Head of the Laboratory at the Faculty of Informatics in Pula (University Jurja Dobrile, Croatia), where he has been employed since 2019. He teaches courses on databases, object-oriented programming, data warehousing, and artificial intelligence at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Education: Ph.D. in Informatics (2016), Faculty of Organization and Informatics Industry Experience: 9 years as software architect and programmer in banking sector Research Focus: Artificial Intelligence systems, classical machine learning algorithms, and deep learning architectures. His work bridges theoretical advancements with practical applications in autonomous vehicles, traffic monitoring, and financial risk assessment.
