Shruti Athavale is a Researcher and Ph.D. candidate at the Chair of Teaching and Learning with Digital Media , Technical University of Munich (TUM), affiliated with the TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology . She holds a Master's degree in Psychology (Learning Sciences) from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, India. Research Interests include: Self-regulated learning and metacognition AI-driven educational technologies (adaptive systems, VR/AR) Teacher and student emotions in digital learning environments Game-based learning and digital trace data analysis Scientific Contributions: Key publications on AI-integrated learning analytics and self-regulated learning. Active participant in the CELLA project (2021-2026), funded by the Jacobs Foundation, focusing on AI-driven learning technologies for children's wellbeing. Recognition : Full scholarship from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (2020-2022) for her master's studies in Germany.
