Nataliia Lukova-Chuiko is a Professor and current Head of the Department of Cybersecurity and Information Protection at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Her career spans roles as Associate Professor, Senior Teacher, and Methodist in institutions like State University of Telecommunications and Ukrainian State University of Finance and International Trade. Doctor of Technical Science (Information Technology, 2018) PhD in Physical and Mathematical Sciences (Geometry and Topology, 2010) Her research focuses on cybersecurity, functional stability of distributed systems, and network security. She has authored over 80 scientific works, including monographs, textbooks, and 50+ articles in Ukrainian and international journals, with Scopus publications in fields like anomaly detection, augmented reality security, and vehicle network resilience. She participated in the ENGENSEC project under TEMPUS IV and held leadership roles in Ukrainian education policy, including advising the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (2016-2019) and assisting the Verkhovna Rada Committee for Science and Education (2014-2016). She also led international internships in Poland, Latvia, and the U.S., focusing on innovation in education and civil society development. Lukova-Chuiko serves as Editor-in-Chief of the journal «Information Systems and Technologies Security» and participates in accreditation bodies for cybersecurity and information systems programs. Her work bridges technical cybersecurity research with national policy and educational reform.
