Barbara Conway is a Professor and Head of Pharmacy at the University of Huddersfield, leading the Department of Pharmacy within the School of Applied Sciences. She holds additional roles as Co-Director of the Institute of Skin Integrity and Infection Prevention and Director of the Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery Centre. Her expertise spans pharmaceutics, drug delivery systems, antimicrobial stewardship, and wound healing innovations. She has supervised over 60 PhD students and maintains active collaborations with NHS institutions and pharmaceutical industries. Her research focuses on improving skin antisepsis, antimicrobial delivery, and solubility enhancement for poorly soluble drugs.
